## Join me on YouTube for regular WordPress updates, insights, and news.

I dig into WordPress to discover and share. User-centric to help WordPress users
learn, grow and scale, and developer-centric walkthroughs where we open the source
and find out why the documented behaviour and the actual behaviour disagree.

SKills

## WordPress done the WordPress way.

01

Plugin Development

Custom plugins built on core APIs, tested, documented, and small enough that the
next developer can read the whole thing.

02

WooCommerce

Stores that survive a busy week — checkout work, integrations, and untangling the
plugin stack that grew there by accident.

03

Teaching & Talks

Workshops, WordCamp and meetup sessions, and one-to-one training for teams who would
rather understand it than outsource it.

04

Content & Community

Running the local meetup, writing things down in public, and making videos that
answer the question rather than pad the runtime.

About

## Over two decades & still reading the source.

I am a WordPress and WooCommerce developer based in Cheltenham UK. Most of my work
is the unglamorous kind: plugins that do one job, stores that need to stop falling
over, and codebases someone else left behind.

I organise the local WordPress meetup, speaker, and teach wherever people will have
me. The thread through all of it is the same: build things that empower the community,
from solo makers running their first site to growing businesses and enterprise teams
who need it to hold under load.

If something here is useful to you, take it. If it is broken, tell me and I will
fix it.
